Crested gecko, need info

hey, i have a 3 month old veiled chameleon in an 18inch cube and am moving him over to a much biggerencloser soon and am hoping to get a crested gecko, i dont no much about them so could yu all post all the info ill need and any adjustments ill need to make to my 18inch. and yea i no ill have to move him to a much bigger encloser soon and il right ontop of it, thx :)

There are several of us on here who have crested geckos and could easily give you much information about them and their set up, however (and without coming across as a you-know-what) you should probably have directed that question to one of the various gecko forums out there. Or, check out websites like pangea.com or other crestie breaders' sites for more information on care and set-up.
 
thx man i will, but one quick question, do they need as much ventalation as chams, like my cam tank is 80% metal mesh, do they need all that ? or could i put him in my 80 gallon or maybe my 30 gallon tank thats all glass
 
They don't need it, per say, but it doesn't hurt. So long as you can keep the humidity up, it's fine.
80 gallons is too large for a crested gecko. 30 gals is the size an adult can be in, but I do 15-25 gals for adults. Seems like they are more active in the 15 gals, I've noticed.
It all depends on what age gecko you get..
