Crazy behavioral shifts

When I first got my chameleon his cage was on one of my dressers rigt in front of a window and I'd open the blinds so some sunlight would shine in on him( I know he's not getting any UVB from that) and he was always cruising around being active, but then for whatever reason I moved his cage onto the other side of my room on another dresser and the sunlight wouldn't really reach him and I noticed ( unless he spotted a cricket) he seemed to spend most of his time on his perk basking. And while on the second dresser he had no problem standing up to me hissing and gaping almost to excess.

So today I decided to move his cage back to it's original spot, so I did, opened the blinds and boom off he went roaming around everywhere and hasn't stopped yet. Although I've noticed instead of fighting back when I went in there to clean a little he did his little rotate around the branch and try to hide.

So I guess the point is, can these subtle differences really change him that much? Or am I just imaging all of this.

P.S. Sorry for the wall of text :p

sounds normal to me..when my windows are open my chams start clambering around the free range and enjoying them selfs..when i have them shut they are either under the bask light or in their normal chill\sleeping spot...

What about going from aggressive to skiddish? Think it just has something to do with him being moved and kinda just trying to figure out what's going on?

the less moving the better..it always takes them time to acclimate to new surroundings..

He's acting a fool now climbing all over the sides and tops of his cage.

As if he doesnt have all kinds of branches and vines.
