Copper treated tanks are only really detrimental to inverts being housed inside your saltwater tank. the issue comes to a head when the copper soaks into the silicone and over time leaches out into the water. In regards to a Chameleon make sure the aquarium is cleaned thoroughly with diluted bleach solution and rinse well. Any residual copper in the silicon will not affect your animal adversely.
That being said depending on the age of your chameleon glass enclosures are not suggested in that they can cause stress. Screen enclosures are ideal.
