Jann,
He looks magnificent ! I last had parson's on 2002, when I had a dozen, sub-adult to adult, but was also transitioning from Bebe Blu Chameleons in Maryland, to The Chameleon Company in Florida, and all ended up being sold off before Florida, to folks who failed 100% with them.
But as I have experience with them, and so many members here do not, can you describe for members what the texture of the skin is like with your parson, as compared to other chams ? I always compared the skin of a parson as being almost as touching velvet, as the scales are so fine, and almost "soft". It is one thing that makes them even more unique than they appear in a photo.
My experience was also that parsons never "run" as we would describe panthers and veileds and others as doing, in that they are a bit as a koala bear in movement. And that they also do not jump. Frankly, because of they body mass, I think falls could be most destructive.
Inquiring minds will gobble up your observations ! Thanks.
