My chameleon is just a little over 4 months old and I ordered him crickets from Armstrong. They sent the wrong size - they sent huge fat adult crickets. Yesterday I put a couple in for him to eat and he did fine - caught them, held them in his mouth for awhile and then crunched them up and swallowed them. But now I am worried because today he did not eat and he did not poo. Will eating too big of crickets cause him to get a stomach ache or get constipated? Should he poo every day? I am calling Armstrong tomorrow to get the right size crickets but I'm just wondering if it's bad for him health wise to be eating these large crickets until the right size comes.
Also, he is a blue chameleon and changes colors like they all do - light blue, dark blue, green usually but yesterday, he turned black/gray a couple times. Is that ok? Does that mean he's sick? (I hope not
