Good pix. they now work. i am a little stumped. i got an idea but don't want to say for sure. maybe laurie or ferretinmyshoes will chime in later today. if no one does, pm me this evening and i will say what i am thinking. keep in mind i am no expert, just an opinion. they are far more knowledgeable and i don't want to cause a false alarm. however, in hindsight i guess i have. keep patient and relaxed. i am hopeful they will chime in and put your worries to rest.

ok ty, i will pm you later

It looks like it could be mouth rot, or the beginning of it, however, it could also be dried bug guts.

Take a damp a tip and try gently wiping it off, and see what happens.

If he gapes at you, see if it's in the mouth, or around the gum line.

well i managed to get some off but there's still some on his lips inside his mouth i can't reach it. except there's a bit on his lips his mouth looks clean should i still worry?

Can you get a pic with his mouth open? It looks like it could be mouthrot, which he would need to go to the vet for.
