Concerned about my Cham's spines

New Member
This is Yoda. He's a juvenile veiled chameleon, maybe I've had him about 2 months. I've been watching this section of his spines for 2 full sheds, so i don't think it's the white strip it's part of his shedding schedule, and he does shy away from me when I touch it. I moved his branches down, thinking that he might be too close to the heat source, but it seems to be worsening. Is this a burn? Any thoughts?

Chameleon Enthusiast
It does look like a burn but it’s odd that it’s only on that one spot, they almost always have burns on their casques as well.
