Hi guys we'll it's been 3 days now and I haven't seen him eat I think he ate one silk worm but not sure. He drinks regularly. He has pooped a few times I put crickets in but only a few and watched them walk on his head. He also let the silk walk nose to nose and didn't eat him. Any suggestions. Thanks

Can we see pictures of your set up? What lighting are you using?
Sure I'm using a complete set up from reptibreez medium. UVB and 50 watt heat lamp

What size enclosure is that? He looks a little lost in there, you might wanna consider something a little smaller until he grows into that. That might be part of the problem. They have a form you can fill out that makes it much easier for members to help you out. @Kristen Wilkins do you have a link to the help form?

I disagree, a baby cham can be in any size cage and they should still eat. You need to fill out the care form at the top of health forum stickied. What are the temperatures? Whats his poop look like? Need more info!

https://www.chameleonforums.com/threads/how-to-ask-for-help.66/ . Copy and past . The little ones are alright in big enclosure. If you found he was sick or falling then you can turn it sideways till he was not falling . Flip it back up later .

In the hot spot between 80-85 and humidity between 77-99 when the mister goes off. He loves the water hitting him he drinks it right up. I see two poops small hall black half white. Thanks for the reply

Med 18-18 -30 the breeder Bruce at paradise chameleon said try a storage container first but he was visibly frantic he wouldn't walk on the branches all he did was try to climb up the side I put crickets it and he wanted out. When I put him on the vine he went up to the light and seemed less stressed then he walked all over drinking off the vines. Thanks let me know what u think. Thank you.

Yeah, I guess the cage thing isn't the problem. I read that you should start small, but the other folks have much more experience than I do, so I will defer to them.

We went through a similar incident with one of our male Ambilobes when he was a baby. He was big enough to eat larger prey so that's what we offered. When he didn't eat for three or four days I thought I might as well give fruit flies a chance. He devoured them and has never had a problem since. If I remember right we kept him on fruit flies for about 10 days before transitioning him back to dubias, crickets, and silkworms.

I thank all of u for your concern and help. I'm glad to say he ate 4 crickets thismourning but stil ignores the small silk worms.
