Completely stunned at what I just witnessed.

I'm pretty much in shock with what I just witnessed. I was sat with the cage doors to my Panthers enclosure open - hand feeding him some locust. He seemed very chilled out. Next thing his tail raises up, and what can only described as dark red innards come shooting out of his anus. It was at least an inch long, and seemed rather alien. Now im assuming its some sort of obscure reptile thing. Either that or there is something seriously wrong with my guy.

I guessed it may have been that, but it looked so vicious. Hardly surprising the females dont last too long. All happened very quickly - in and out in 5-10 seconds

how old is your panther? He may be hitting his teenage years, and just showing is stuff. It is completely normal.

He's about 6months. He's certainly acting differently today. Usually very scared of me, but seems to have changed his personality overnight...very relaxed. :D

About a week ago, my 5 month old Panther was having his morning poop and when he had finished (I wasn't really watching, honest!) I was also shocked to see his hemipenes (have I spelled that correctly??) come out of his body with the remainder of his poop.

It did look quite shocking and I panicked for about 15 seconds until he took them back in, and I realised what they were!

Just to clarify, teenagers or adults should not show their stuff-we have laws about that Laurie.:D
