Hey everyone, so I've recently moved out of my parents house and into my first apartment (will be 2 weeks on Monday) and my pair of male panthers made the move with me. My nosy be has gone through a complete change in temperament, when I was living at home I could handle him almost whenever I wanted without him gaping, puffing, etc, he was really calm always had his neutral colours showing, never minded being out of his enclosure. But now after almost 2 weeks of being at my apartment he won't let me anywhere near him without biting and gaping really aggressively, but he will still eat out my hand without hesitation. He is also showing brighter colours a lot more often which is worrying me. He could still be settling In but the enclosure is exactly the same just the surroundings around it are different. At my parents house the enclosures were In the basement and now they're by a big window on the 9th floor, I'm thinking this could have something to do with it. I feel like its not him settling in because he's still acting normal aside from showing bright colours more often and the handling thing and he's been eating fine since day one here. And also my other panther is still the exact same as he was at my parents place. I'd like to hear others thoughts on this (sorry for this being so long!)
Thanks, Dave
