Compact vs flo tubes

For UVB. I have a pretty deep cage and was wondering if I should get 10 instead of 5 and which type is better?

Personally, I like the linear tube lights because the spread out the UVB over a wider range. It makes it easier for the chameleon to bask and get UVB with or without being right under the heat light.

And I like the Reptisun 10.0 as well, as you still get a good amount of UVB that gets through the screen. With a 5.0 I feel that through the screen you're not left with very much viable light.

Of what, the UVB bulb? Each size comes with its own specific wattage, so that will depend on the length you get. I like my UVB to cover the span of my cage, so a 24" light is perfect for the 24" wide cages, for example, and the 24" light has a certain wattage that it comes in. I know they come in T8 and T5 style tubes, the T5s are more efficient. I get whichever bulb fits in the fixtures I have, typically a T8 right now.
