common colours for 5 month old panther?

Hi, I got my panther nearly a week ago and he seems to spend all of his time this colour (see pic). He is a male so can go colourful but obviously not really bright as he is only 5 months old. I am assuming that this is just stress of adjusting to his new home but just wanted to check

I'd say male. Might be a late bloomer. What locale? Try to get him out into some natural sunlight if possible.

Grats on your cham!! From the bits of greens and blues i would say ambilobe (male). Dont worry about his colors they will come in eventualy, just give him a nutritious diet (gutload feeders with veggies/fruits) along with love and take him out on bright sunny warm days. I would recomend dusting the fruits/veggies with a mix of dinofuel and bugburger to help make his colors more vibrant and its also extra vitamins that your feeders intake. Hope this helps and remember its not about how your cham looks, its about getting the little guy to see that you care for him and hopfuly hell turn into a chill cham that wants to hang out with you when ever your around :D

He is defiantly a male, check out this pic of him on this thread. This is the only time ive seen him light up, he was out on his free range plant for a few mins while i was sorting out his cage.

He is an Ankify X Ambilobe. i know he has the capabilities to be very bright, as seen in his pic, but he just chooses not too. thats why i was wondering if its stress?

what do you all think?

My chameleon at 5 months was not colorful at all. He is a Sambava and was a dull whitish grey with a little bit of blue and green. One day he just popped and turned a beautiful lime green. Just be patient. Some just take longer than others!
