Yeah I've read about and watched videos on these creatures. My chameleon does this too though, just less extreme.

I loved keeping common chameleons. Even though their color changes aren't spectacular they are interesting critters.

I love how they do this. I have noticed Zaphod doing this (not as pronounced) when I take him outside. He will be dark on one side and showing some lighter greens and blues on the other. I am trying to get a good picture of it but haven't been successful yet.

My veileds are often darker on their basking side and my little Graceful, Tate really has the very distant color change.
