Commercial Food for Feeder Insects

My vet suggested I feed my crickets moistened dry dog food. The Forum went crazy. One poster suggested I use Roach Chow from The Roach Guy.

I looked at the pictures The Roach Guy's web site and thought, gee, that looks an awful lot like chicken feed. It could even be a layer formula, which would be very high in calcium. Needless to say, Roach Chow is many, many times the cost of a good quality chicken feed.

Thoughts?

I offer my crix some roach feed every so often, 99% is uneaten. Try Bug Buffet, Bug Burger (wet or dry), alfalfa, wheat germ, bran, Cricket Smack (actually Crack), or any of Sandra 's dinner recipes
