i was just wondering if there was any kind of reference on the colour changing of chameleons? Somthing which actually shows you the different colour changes and various dialects of species - their possible meanings in the various conditions and situations? Wow now that would be fantastic!

I do not know. I am just commenting that I think someone somewhere is working on a project like this. I am sure there is a way to look up chameleons scientifically. As far as a lame mans picture book, I am not sure.

There's a cool chart in the chameleons online ezine in the Senegal chameleon article. It shows some pics and has a listing of the moods and their corresponding colors.
