This is probably the dumbest question ever, sorry. We’ve owned our female Jackson Cham for about two weeks. I’m not sure how old she is yet, I’m in the process of finding an exotic pet vet. She’s young but not a baby. Her lights are right, I’m feeding her correctly, etc as far as I can tell I’m doing right by her. But she’s still a really dark green and black color. She’s not angry or upset. The other Chams I’ve seen online tend to be much more vibrant. Am I doing something wrong? Will she ever change color or do some stay that dark?

They can be dark for a couple of reasons. Dark on one side while turned toward the light is to better absorb heat and UVB. Dark and blotchy colors usually mean they are intimidated. It isn't unusual for a cham in a new enclosure to be dark for a while especially when you are in the room. The best remedy for this is to add more plants and hiding spots. I know you think you will never see her again if you add more but you will actually see more of her once she is sure she has many places to hide if necessary.
we can double check your temperatures and other husbandry settings to see if there is something else going on.
