Color Enhancers?

I was browsing Josh's Frogs' website and came across something called a color enhancer. I definitely wouldn't mind if my chameleon was a brighter color, but was worried it might be bad for him. The fact that I had never seen these anywhere else made me a little suspicious of them. Do they really work?

I wouldn't trust it. The best thing to make them colorful is outside time when you can and keep them healthy and happy.

I don't know of things like this would have much effect. Cham color is constantly changing due to stress hormone activity not a static state of a particular part of the skin, and the range of coloration the pigment cells can display is probably hereditary to a large degree.

While we're on the subject of chameleon color, does a Jackson's chameleon ever turn bright colors or are they just green and brown? I've never seen a picture of one that was something like red or blue.
