Collector Cars

I just found these pictures I had uploaded to photobucket and was going to post them to one of the other threads going about hobbies, but figured collector cars could/should be a thread of their own. I've had this car since 1995 and it's still my favorite car ever built. So here it is:

1967 Chevrolet Camaro Rally Sport/Super Sport (yes, with a REAL SS hood)
295HP 350-cid (.30 over), 4-barrel Holley, fun camshaft
M-21 close ratio 4-spd transmission to 3.73s
Dual exhaust flows through Hooker headers and out through three-chamber Flowmasters. I love it, you probably wouldn't even notice the soft rumble next to you at a stoplight but when it's go time, there's nothing better than that throaty Flowmaster tone. mmmm
HP robbers:
Factory air-conditioning
Power-steering
Power-brakes

Goodies:
Actual working hideaway headlights, perhaps my favorite thing about the look of the car.
2+2 Fold-down rear seat
Original console
Z87 Custum interior
Originally Marina Blue, now a color the shop called Wineberry
15" Rally Wheels with good ol' BFG's
Blaupunkt CD/mp3 with Sony amp, etc
ALARM, ETC

Awesome cars, guys! My neighbor loves MGs and has a trip sitting out on the street in various states of repair. One has a bad window where another neighbor's cat climbs through and sleeps in the back seat! :D

Just love those old camero's. My friend has 2 '67's, 396 ci cars one a convertable [butternut yellow] 4 speed and the other a aqua marine coupe, auto, totally original [even paint] with @ 50k miles. At one point i could have bought it from him [think he paid @ $4200]. Way out of my price league now though. I used to own a 1966 Sunbeam Tiger with a Ford 260ci V8, sorry i never kept pics.

British Racing Green -- SWEET! I had one back in Colorado when I was young and a trouble maker.:D Was H3LL trying to keep it running though. Ended up selling to a kid and his dad for a father/son project when it was determined that it could not make the trip to Utah. Fun car, not as clean looking as yours though. Now I drive around an old Honda CRV.

Well, we are at Michigan State (Go Green, Go White)... (but that's just the color the car happened to be when we found it and bought it last year; I suspect if it were red, orange or white it would have come home with us just the same).
