I woke up this morn and looked at clair/ shes darker colored. her temp is now pefrect(80-82) but i toucherd her and she was cold. iv been treating her for an RI the last two day (today and yesterday) she had gone to the vet just yesterday. he didnt think anything was wrong with her (she didnt weez when i took her in) and actually said she was one of the most active chams he'd ever seen come in. he gave me meds diluted alot for her body size (5grams) and i give it to her for 10days. im upset. she wont eat. she is drinking though. mabey shes really stressed out from the vet visit? also to give her her med(it's liquid) i have to hold her down and open her mouth :(

how old is she, sometime increasing temps in times of unhealthyness can acctually help strenghten their imune system and give them a better chance to fight offf the infection.

Yeah, how old, how long not eating? What's usual feeding schedule/variety? Have you filled out the ask for help form?

Current Problem - cold and darker. i took her out of her cage and she feels a little warmer and went back to light green. not eaten today(as far as i know) or yesterday. took to the vet yesterday.

Oh dear, sorry Clair isn't feeling great. I'd say that her not eating is a normal response to her illness - try not to get too concerned about this just keep an eye on her weight and make sure she keeps drinking.

You should increase her basking site temp to the mid 80's so she's warm enough and it will stimulate her immune system to get those antibiotics working. Make sure she drinks plenty as well - antibiotics are difficult for their kidneys to process.

Yeah i guess so. her poop wasnt as good looking today. shes drinking alot but the white part was yellow and the brown was ok but mushy. lack of eating isnt doing her to great.

Hope she pulls through for you, mate.

Remember, you can't judge her body temp accurately with your hand! YOUR normal body temp is 98.6 F which is a lot warmer than hers. She will naturally feel cool to the touch.

oh. well i didn t expect that becuase shes a lizzard. thankyou for clearing that up. i feel sorta dumb. everything about her makes me worry :(

Okiroo, please do not feel dumb. you are trying. and dumb is when you are given sound advice, arguing with it, and not following through with the sound advice.
You are making changes, worrying about her, taking her to the Vet, that to me says you are intelligent and caring.
As long as she is drinking, she can go without food for a couple of days, it would help it she will eat, but let her settle a bit

Keep doing what you are doing

Agreed. When you have the basics within reasonable limits then the best to do is as little as possible.........be concerned, but don't worry :)
