Coffe and chameleons

So I purchased some manzita branches that were sand blasted. But they're pretty white, and look out of place. So I have been experimenting with a few broken piece and soaking them in a cup of coffee. The result, they look much more natural. And retain color even after being rinsed off and baked. So does anyone see anything wrong with this like," NO, Chameleons are allergic to coffee!".. Just curious.

I doubt it would pose a problem, people use harsher chemicals to stain and seal their enclosures.
You can rub it down with vinegar after treating it w/ coffee to give it a more weathered/gray look, just a FYI
