Cod Oil

I have a quick question.
I was talking to a reptile guy today, and he mentioned that a small drop of cod oil will make most reptiles go to the bathroom.
I wanted to know if it was safe.
I already know about the pro-formed vitamin A contorversy.
The reason why I would use the cod oil is to get a fresh stool sample.
I'm not always around to get the freshest stool, so this might be a good way to get the freshest sample to my vet.

Justin, if you haven't already, check the Dave Weldon Vit A thread. Goes into cod liver oil as a laxative as well as some other stuff about Vit A.

Ahahahaha. Coffee and a cig always does it for me in the morning. Although I think I read something about this in an earlier post. Maybe the thread that was to Dave Weldon about vit A I think.

Blah. Sorry Justin that one isnt it and I cant seem to find it. I know It is a very recent one though
