CO-LIVING CHAM and GECKO? where to buy...

Female 2 months, havnt bought it.
1 18 inch reptiglow 2 or 5 and a day/night bulb buy the 5.0. you do not need a night time bulb. a regular house bulb will produce sufficient heat during the day. depending on your house ambient temps and distance from the basking site and placement of the bulb for the wattage. generally you shouldnt ever need anything above a 40 watt.
70% higher misting twice a day or more and with in cage gauges'
temps 85-70im confuse on the 85-70. need to be more specific as it needs to be. basking temp? ambient temps? night time temps?
i will get a ficus IF I BUY THE cham. and fake, has logs will buy bendi vine
i will be on a desk or dresser in a bed room close to crested gecko tank
i live in colorado

Your Chameleon - JACKSON, female, and age 2-3-4 months.
How long has it been in your care? none havnt bought it yet
Handling - 1 a week or less
Feeding - crickets, repashy gut load stuff, or freeze driedrepashy gut load is a good choice.
Supplements - with d3 and w/o d3 ill get multi vitehow often will you use each?what brands?
Watering - Hand mister. Dont own yet
Fecal Description - i dont know about parasites.
History - this will be first cham

see red within quote. the cage you are looking at LLL is fine for a young or even juvi jacksons

Cage:adults 24x24x48' SCREEN cage lots of rope, vines and live plants if you can. live plants will help with the humidity. make sure you cover the soil with screen. put cage as high up in the room as you can. not near any vents, fans or windows.

Lighting: 5.0 reptisun or reptiglo linear tube (length depends on cage size)/house hold bulb for basking. the house bulb watt will depend on how far your nearest branch is from the light and your ambient room temps.
***change bulbs every 6 months.

Temps: basking temp around 78* / ambient temps 72* measure by digital guages. if you can 60's* night time.

Hydration: manual spray 2-5 minutes/2-3 times a day. provide a dripper. depending where you live and mechanicals within the home. you may need to provide a cool mist or humidifier.

Feeders: gutload (24 hours before feeding) with fresh veggies and fruits, repashy's gutload, sticky tongue farms etc.. Crickets, mealworms, silkworms, hornworms, dubai roaches, reptiworms, BB flies.

i am ordering a new supplement and giving it a shot. the guy knows his stuff and i feel confident it will be beneficial ot the care of my chameleons. allen repashy has suggested that we use this product every other feeding or 2 on and 1 off for montanes. again i have not personally tested this product out.

currently i use repcal phos free plain calcium every other feeding or 2 on and 1 off. i supplement reptivite twice a month.

i also make my own gut load and if you want a list of ingredients let me know. i basically use a lot of info from sandrachameleons blogs to make it.

if your wanting a reptarium for an adult i would get the 175 gallon.
http://lllreptile.com/store/catalog...nd-explorariums/-/175-gallon-basic-reptarium/

for the price i would get the metal. chameleons arent a cheap proposition. changing bulbs every six months, going through hand mister like crazy, feeders, food for the feeders, baskig bulbs, etc your going to be spending a bunch of money. its the chameleon way of life :)

Exactly! Chams arent too cheap, but they are fun to have and take care of.:)

I have read the for a female jacksons cham, you can have 24x24x36 tank or so... what to believe

it is up to you then to take which advice and roll with it. imo bigger is better. for only 20 bucks or less.....

good luck with your girl. have anymore questions please fill free to ask.

24x24x36 is plenty of good space for adult female jackson. I keep female panthers in I think 18x18x36, not reptariums though.

Those are probably fine, I just never have used the reptariums. Thought about some for outdoor use. They have darker mesh I use the standard metal screen cages from LLL Reptile. I also have a few of the Zoo Med Reptibreeze screen enclosures and exo terra screened enclosures. I like LLL's the best for now. I want to get some from DIYcages next time though.
