I found a local selling his juvie female jacksons chameleon. He said that he had a flying gecko living with it too. Is this ok? i dont think it is, just trying to confirm.

Also where can i buy a screen top the is a "box" and would double the tanks size?? PM me please!!!

Its generally not recommended to keep two different species in the same cage for a number of reasons...one might carry bacteria, parasites, etc. that could harm the other...one could eat the other (or try to)...needs of both may be different.

i agree with kinyonga once the chameleon gets old enough and grows big enough it could end up eating the gecko. you would be surprised what chameleons will eat! today i saw a picture on the forum of a chameleon eating a hummingbird! you should check it out its pretty sweet haha go to the picture gallery!

here in the cleveland metroparks zoo they have a panther with a gecko. i thinks it a leaf gecko or somthing. they have been living happily together for many years, my friend is one of the managers/overseers or whatever and she has never seen a problem

How big is the cage? Probably bigger than standard size cages we use...

Yes that's fine for a jacksons. I was referring to the zoo enclosure comment...

not that big really, I dont know the dimensions but I have pics somewhere on here of it. I wouldnt recommend the jackson and flying geckos though at all. The zoo keepers are pros, keeping species that actually do coexist with each other once in a while or all the time in the wild. So not that good of a comparison.
