Hoping it’s a quick fix! My boy has been on antibiotics for about 2 weeks now and he has started to perk up quite a bit.The vet called after I sent a picture and thinks it might be the start of an infection. I was freaking out when I saw him close his eyes but now that he’s moving around and eating some food I feel a lot better.

Thank you! He ate two hornworms this morning. The vet visit is in two hours, and I will show results when we get back. He is looking a lot better since he ate, but is still closing his eyes.

He said the weather change and stress can make the amount of protozals in him go way up, causing him to not feel good.

Sherbert was closing his eyes most of the morning, he moves them around but doesn’t open them
It was really hard trying to get him to take his medicine yesterday, he bit me quite a few times, (thank goodness for gloves) I think he’s really stressed from the vet and medicine. He is eating again, but only takes two bugs at most.
I think he is about to shed, his skin is looking a little pale and the little spots he gets when he sheds have shown up. I’m not home right now so I can only check on him from the camera at this time. He is basking and his eyes are open right now, I saw him cleaning them out with the water from his dripper. I added a picture at the bottom.

He didn’t get any injections, his antibiotics are given by mouth.. I found stuck shed in between his claw, I’m wondering if his claw is soar so he isn’t grabbing anything…Did he get any injections at the vet? Is his medicine all oral? Just thinking outside the box, it doesn’t seem normal to me.
Oh good, you found something at least. Hopefully that’s it, but if not improving tomorrow I would probably let the vet know.
