Closed eyes

My 10 month old Male Veiled cham has been recently keeping his eyes closed a lot more. Even during the day. I took him to his vet and they told me their only concern was slight dehydration. Since then he has been way more hydrated but still keeps his eyes closed a lot. At about midnight a noticed him hissing and walking with his eyes closed. After picking him up and removing him from the cage, he still wouldn’t open his eyes. His vet gave me emergency eye drops in case this didn’t stop so i administered those and it didn’t seem to do much. Anyone else experienced this or know what this could be?

As the vet doesn't seem to find a medical issue and your chameleon wakes up/sleepwalks at night it may have something to do with husbandry.
Do you have any lights on at night in his enclosure?
