Clear or White Incandescent Bulbs?

In terms of incandescnet lighting for basking which is better for your chameleon, clear, soft white or white? or does it matter?

I like clear. I feel it looks brighter in the cage, and that i cna use a lower wattage bulb and still get the temps i need.
