Cleaning maidenhair fern for enclosure

Hello this is my first time posting and I am currently setting up and enclosure for a panther chameleon. I have it all set up and I am now adding extra plants for beauty and a little extra cover. I want to add a maidenhair fern and I’m not sure how to go about washing it to remove pesticides or anything else considering how delicate of a plant it is. If anyone who has experience with this situation has any input that would be great thanks:)

Hi. I clean all of my plants the same way and have with a maidenhair fern as well. They are a bit sturdier than they look. First I remove as much of the soil as I can down to bare roots. I have a bucket of soapy water in which I use Dawn dish soap. Depending on the type and size of the plant, I’ll either dunk it upside down to the beginning of the root ball and lightly agitate the leaves with my hand or with fewer and larger defined leaves (like pothos or calathea) I dip the leaves and gently massage them clean. Then, still holding the plant upside down I rinse the heck out of it and then rinse the heck out of it again and sometimes a third time. I do this all outside where I can use the garden hose. I repot in fresh organic soil and give it a few days to recover.
