Cleaning fake plants?

Hi, I just got some fake plants and vines from Hobby Lobby for a new enclosure for a six month old male veiled named Waldo. He hasn't been exposed to them yet because the new cage hasn't arrived yet, but I just wanted to ask a few questions first. Are they safe to use? How should I clean them?

how goes it

hey how goes it. i have fake plants in my cage. real plants are to keep the humidity up and sumtimes they like to munch on the leaves. as far as cleaning them throw them into the dish washer. you dont have to but i like to run the first cycle with soap and then ill do another cycle without soap just so im 100% sure that there is no soap residue on the vines. because that wouldnt be good if he sips sum soap residue from drinking off the leaves. i hope this helps

Didn't know you could use the dishwasher.I just hand wash them with anti bacterial soap in a shower.then a good rinse with cold water

Any time i bring anything into a cham cage either from the store or outdoors i always boil water and let it sit for 15 min.

Hmmm... the boiling is a good idea. I have a few fake strands of leaves in with my baby Jackson, I use a mild soap and warm/hot water and let them sit.
