hi i was wondering about all u guys who have these nice big cages and a bunch of plants and stuff how do u clean your cages.. i have a 3'x2'x3' cage with 4 live plants that have grown around everything and what not and i dont think i can take them out with out wracking them

My 2x2x4' cage is a PITA to clean. There is no easy way to do it. I usually end up taking almost everything out once a month and give a thorough cleaning. Every week I try to clean as much as I can by just moving things around. My ficus is constantly dropping leaves, and those are my biggest enemy. Sorry I don't think there is a easy way to do it unless you plan for it while putting the cage together.

I remove all the big heavy plants, carry the whole thing out and hose down with antibacterial soap and water.

U could also take ur cam out of the cage, take ur cage out side and rinse it out with the pressure of the hose

My shefflera is getting some water stains on its leaves and I tried wiping the leaves with just water, but it didn't work. Would a light wiping of the leaves with some soap do the trick?

I "Deep clean" by removing everything (and yes, this disturbs the larger plants) and using steam, hot water, elbow grease, white vinegar and even repainting if needed, but only a couple times a year. Usually I spot clean (daily) and monthly a more thorough cleaning but without removing the plants (just wipe the leaves with water or a mild vinegar or mild soap water)

I just wipe up the poop (or other bodily excretions) I see and take dead or really pooped on leaves out. I remove any dead feeders when I find them.

yes i agree there is no easy way. i spot clean every 1-3 days and drain water from the water catcher daily. every few months a take everything out and give it a good spray down with warm water and a drop of antibacterial soap and rinse it out thoroughly. i also run a miniature fan pointed across the bottom of the cage every other night or so to help it dry out before getting saturated again
