ok so I was wondering what is the best way to clean a cage to rid it of any possible parasites or issues it may have before using it with a new chameleon, if anyone has any tips or solutions they find to work let me know

Alot of ppl use either bleach diluted w/water. Or you can get chlorhexaderm (spelling) from the vet or online. Its a great antibacterial ointment that can be applied directly to an animals skin or used as a cleaning product. Its perfectly safe for animal use. Or get some hydrogen peroxide 4% or higher solution. It will kill anything just make sure if you use bleach or peroxide to rinse everything down well afterward. Chlorhexaderm is safe so its easier to rinse off.
