Cleaning advice...

Hello, I need some help/advice on what to clean my veiled chameleon's cage with. I normally just get his poop up as soon as he goes and use really hot water and paper towels to clean his cage, although I've only had him for 2 1/2 weeks, but I would like to use something that will help kill any bacteria or help keep it from growing. If anyone has any techniques or advice I would very much appreciate it ;) Thanks!!!

I was told to use the yellow windex. I use it with a combination of lysol wipes. I have extra cage floors. So I clean them, spray them with water, dry with paper towel, and let sit until needed in a rotation. Hope this helps.

You can purchase various disinfectants at beardeddragon.co I use them for cleaning my cages. They are the type used in vet offices.

Great!!! Thank you so much!! Also can I use this on live and fake plants and vines in his cage? If so, I should clean them with the windex and Lysol then rinse well with water, correct?

Live plants: dip in dawn and water mix. It also kills mites and gnats.
Fake plants: I use scalding hot water from tub. Left in storage bin in rotation like cage floors.
To answer earlier question, ALWAYS rinse with water afterwards.
