I've heard cicadas when on holiday but never seen one. Thanks Snake? Next time I hear them I will know what I'm looking for. Is the noise I hear from one or a few together?

It's not so bad if you ignore the weather. That's why we go to warm countries for hols. Today it's 15c and quite pleasant . Not used to hot!

I have found some Periodical Cicada - Magicicada sp in my area this year. Not sure if its the 17 year brood but there are a few to be caught.

He didn't look too excited once he got it. Kinda like a "Oh well I guess I caught it may as well finish it"

I also think he swallowed it way too fast ;/ he needs to learn to chew first...
