Herptivite in my opinion in a poor multivitamin for a chameleon, especially a big box store bred one. Chameleons that come from that situation are already deficient in many vitamins. Adding the fact on top of that her main foods are captive bred which don't have near enough vitamins to offer as most wild caughts. She is likely vitamin deficient which can cause severe problems with egg laying and creating. I suggest a multivitamin that has a preformed vitamin A. However the preferred method of vitamin giving which allows for most absorption in chameleons in an all in one mix with plain calcium also added in.

She gets plenty of wild caught insects during the warm months. I use a minimum of 5 feeders during the winter months when I can't catch bugs. I gut load the feeders I buy with Rephsady superload and I have calcium plus from Rephsady which I was going to switch over to once I used up the last of my other vitamins. I'm well aware of the issues that veileds from chain stores tend to come with. Especially MBD and vitamin A deficiencies.

I honestly wasn't trying to upset you. It does sound like she just has weird laying problems then. ^^ She look very happy though <3

It honestly depends on you situation. What your chameleons are housed in, what their uvb is like. Whether they get regular sun. Repashy is the most well known all in one products that I know of. Though I pretty sure there is one called Sticky Tongue? The thing that is awesome about all in one formulas is there a ton of different types usually made by the same manufacturer. So if you want something that has a moderate level of vitamins and D3 so you can use it more regularly that is great. Then you can get with a higher calcium or D3 content during a female's laying days. Then go back to the other. There are also other types. The thing about all in ones is they tend to go bad quicker than regular and separated minerals and vitamins, so usually replace them at least every year, sometimes every six months. The most important way to supplement is by gutloading, so if you have a dry gutload that doesn't include added vitamins and minerals, and certain vitamins and minerals will not get absorbed unless paired with another. So usually calcium does not get absorbed at all as a supplement unless paired with D3 and magnesium can help too. So a dry gutload that has no added vitamins (though the foods in it can often offer them) I usually don't buy them. Because remember our captive feeders need as much help as possible with producing enough healthy vitamins and minerals as possible to be enough for our chameleons. That's why I prefer making my own dry gutload and adding my own vitamins and minerals to it
