She has actually been in it for a couple of weeks but we are busy, busy, busy here so I am just getting the pics up now. Comments welcomed.
Yes, sorry, it is a glass enclosure but they have really worked well for me.
Of course, the empty...
Followed by picking the furniture, repotting the furniture, to the final new home.
It was a very long day. Even Pete had enough and checked out.

I like it. It all depends really. Some species do better in glass than others. It all depends on humidity. For me, I have my veiled in a homemade screen enclosure but it is winter so I put plastic sheeting on 3 sides to keep in the heat and humidity. I like personally like it and it works great. I have heard good things about those terrariums and I hope it serves you and your cham well.

Those plants will thicking up quick so I wouldn't add too much more!

Did you plant those in the bottom of the enclosure? Gives it a nice natural jungle look! I really like it :D
I think ChiChi is a very lucky Chameleon!!

Poor Pete he was just so tuckered out he fell face first into the pillow!

Cage looks good. I love Pete sticking out. He looks just like one of my dragons. when I let one out to play I always have to look alover the room to find them.

I would suggest taking the venus fly trap and the pitcher plant out. The venus fly trap probably wont survive in there because they need a wintering time where the temps need to drop down to freezing. And the pitcher plant will attract your feeders into its tube. Other than that it looks pretty good :) I like vivariums :) You should put a pothos in it they thrive in them.

Thanks all. I appreciate the input.

"Add some more foliage in the front of the tank; that way she can hide from you if she wants."
I may end up using fakes till I see how the plants fill out.

Yes, I repotted in peat pots and put them directly into soil/peat mix topped with moss. Thanks, I like the natural look too. Yeah, I think we were all pretty tuckered out at the end of the day.

"What did you use to anchor the sticks and vines?"
They are stuck straight into the substrate.

Yeppers, I am already starting to have problems with the fly/pitcher plants. Bummer because they are way cool. Oh well. I am waiting for my pothos to root out and then will put some in. I need to slow things down for the holidays for now though.

"How did you come up with the name ChiChi?" Did you get the name from Dragonball Z?"
Jeeze, I haven't seen that for a while. LOL. Actually the son and hubbie named her Quetzalcoatl. Of course none of us can actually pronounce it correctlly so it just evolved.

Again, thanks all.:)
