Cheap Dome Lights

I need dome lights for my heating lamps. Anyone?

Howdy Dave,

I've been pretty happy with 60W Halogen Flood lights. They are nicely priced when sold at Home Depot in a 3-pack. You may find that this light, when placed at about 12" away, will produce ~90F. Use a digital temp meter and then do a double sanity check by sticking your hand at the basking spot for at least one minute to make sure that you aren't going to cook your critter .
