Hi i got a new xl reptibreeze for my male veiled, i have put him in today, and he has gone very dark, with his very white markings, he looks super stressed.

He has gone from his too small setup, to this great big setup, so id imagine he will be like this for a few days?

He is eating, temps are bang on, same lighting etc.Just a stressed colour.

do you think its just the change? as its a hell of alot bigger, than his old one,

Did any one else find this?

he just needs time to ajust to his new surroundings

Yeah i hope so mate, he is the one thats seems to get bugged out of mine the most, whenever the slightest change in his old setup like new vines, different plant etc, so this must have upset him bad lol oh well its for the best in the longrun.

They are so funny aren't they?! I replaced Tommy's leafless ficus with a new schefflera and added a branch and a vine and he sulked for a whole week, lol! Everything else in his viv stayed the same. Now he is back to his normal happy self and is loving his new furniture!

Thats good to know then, hopefuly he will be back to his grumpy self soon,

my female i can change anything and she does not care one bit, the only time i ever seen her get stressed colours for the last 4 months was when she saw my male through the glass on his plant as i was cleaning his cage,
