Changing petco!

So, i was just informed a couple days ago that i got the job at my local petco! I still have to do a few things, but i am basically hired. I dont know how it will work, but i hope i am assigned to the reptiles. I will hopeful save a few lives, since they have some jacksons that look just awful and some water dragons that look almost died and basically all their reptiles need more care. i hope to educate the other staff members and especially the new reptile owners and teach them what need to be taught. Of course i cant go in there like i own the place, but i will try to attend to the reptiles as soon as possible. I am going to try to change this petco one reptile at a time!

What position? I recently worked at a Petco, quit for various reasons but I didn't like working for a company that although on the top they seemed to care about animals underneath they were stock. Each store is different of course, even in a chain but unless you're a manager store associates don't get a say in much.

Congratulations on the job. They aren't always easy to come by these days. There have been a lot of threads over the years about Petco, but each store is different. You may or may not be able to make a difference, but passing along information to other associates is a good place to start.

Thank you, my petco had just recently gone down the toilet because one of the most educated staff members there recently left and they recently got chameleons (veiled and jacksons) a bunch of them. first priority get to the chameleons!!
