Changing diet

My chameleon has usually eaten locusts but I gave him meal worms the other day and that is now what he is only eating. He is ignoring all locusts. I have taken his meal worms out the vivarium yesterday but he still isn't eating. Is this normal?

Yea, it's not unusual for a chameleon that doesn't get a lot of variety to get hooked on the first new bug he's presented with. Usually skipping a couple days of food with get them hungry enough to try locusts again.

Remember to always try to give him as much feeder variety as possible. I know it's a lot harder on your side of the pond but it'll cut down these food strikes.
