Changed it up a bit

So it was time for a good clean on Trevor's cage this weekend just gone. I was not happy with the leggy pothos etc so I gave it a massive haircut so it would be more of a bush rather than leaf less vines that looked horrible. I also got a few different plants to go in there.

I'm trying 2 orchid cuttings I had from a mother plant that are just attached to the sides. The type or orchid lives on the trees so it was worth a shot. A guy said he just points the misters at it so it's watered every time they go off. It dries quite quick so no problem of over watering.

I made sure there are little hiding places for him and he has already found them. He seems to love it and sits proud on the top branches basking. It does look like there is less in there but it's positioned better so that the light gets to the bottom. Before the change it was almost dark lower down.

I can't see the other one, but your phal keiki on the left looks a bit thirsty, but it may be just the quality of the picture, and with time your mister will take care of that. Be careful on frequent mistings with it because if water sits in the crown of the orchid too long, it'll get crown rot. So just keep a peeper on that ;)

The viv looks very nice and your handsome dude looks like he's enjoying it!

Yeah that's because I forgot to water the mother plant for over a week and it's just starting to come back to life. I mist with pretty warm water for 10mins at 8am the 4 more mists every 2 hours for 2.5 mins then a last one at 5 for 5 mins. He wasn't drinking much and that showed badly on his last poo. I uped it a week ago or so and he pooed this morning and it was white. Think he just takes longer to start drinking so I'll leave it how it is for now.
