Chaneleon really stressed ?

Well the houston weather now is perfect. So I decided to move my chameleon cage outside. Since I did this he has been just brown all day ! he is receiving natural sun. His temps are right and I'm misting several times through out the day. I'm not using uvb anymore since he is getting natural sun all day. Any thoughts on what could be going wrong ?

I"m only a newb and dont yet own a chameleon, but I was under the impression that they also darken to help absorb heat/light when they are basking. Not just when stressed or angry.

Someone with experience might be able to correct or confirm this.

He maybe seeing something that is not to his liking such as a bird. It might just be the insecurity of seeing the great outdoors, that he is not used to. Just give him some time to adjust and he should be fine. He could also be trying to absorb the heat from the sun.

Yeah he might just be adjusting. I doubt that he is trying to absorb tge heat. Because he is dark all day long and he is alot darker that when he was inside the house basking

It seems like he just want to get out !! He has been crawling all over the screen. He has never done this before. Maybe it was a bad idea to take him outside :/ ? There are tons of trees that he can look at
