really cool , chameleon show on animal planet right now(crocodile hunter:reptiles of the lost continent, madagascar) that is its on right now if u live on the west coast(uas) and have comcast.

suprised how many chameleons they are showing.

It is worth the watch! the whole show was good, i missed the first 5 mins , but i got the rest on dvr. i was suprised at all the chams... man i miss steve irwin he was great at what he did.

Got my copy Of the 4 volumes I was missing, Including that one, watched them last night! I was dissappointed with steves handling tecknique though, just grabbed them like any other lizard. No wonder those Ousteleti and panthers chewed the crap out of him!
Duh Stevo, You needed lots more experience with chameleons mate!
Was great watching though.
P.S like Kent, Id like to collect a few specific chameleon DVD's and Im looking for somewhere I can buy a few together from the one place because Shipping out here gets expensive. If anyone finds a commonly known seller (international, must be able to get region 4 coded discs), please let me know thanks!

I think he handled the chameleons just fine...i would assume most wild chams dont like to be handled, no matter how good u handle them...give the guy a break he did great things for reptiles!!!

Sure He did, whats your point? Steve wasnt a saint, no sun shone brightly from his bum I assure you. He handled them like any other lizard, hands on, not a good approach to wild threatened feeling panthers. He could have used a branch to show them without body handling, with the same gentleness he handles venomous snakes.
I was surprised, Id never seen him handle chameleons before, it was rough on those panthers, no wonder they chewed the crap out of him.
The Ousteleti didnt seem to mind that much but the panthers sure did!

ancientcritters , i have it saved also, i have been trying to figure out the best way to transfer it ...my dvr box has a usb porton it but i doubt it will be that easy.

Yes I did, Your observant huh? His handling of them sucked, the only bonus was it was breif! Nobody is 'bashing' anyone, You dont have to agree, do you understand that?
Dont assume things like that, your way off the mark. Just because he's dead, does not mean I cant say whatever the #@#@ I like about the bloke, He didnt become a saint when died doing a stupid thing either! Steve had not much sense of self preservation and his enthusiasm and stardom clouded his judgement, period.

Sorry Jake, I did expect to find it on youtube but a search proved fruitless. I dont know how to put dvd from a disc to youtube. The panthers went apeshit because he grabbed them bodily like any other lizard. They chewed him repeatedly trying to escape, made several runs for it and he nearly dropped them a couple of time, all while he waxed lyrical and crapped on about how naughty they were. Sometimes steve needed a kick in the arse like anyone else!
