What of this? Accident? Human intervention?
I haven't noticed or even read of chameleons actually caring for their offspring after they hatch. I've actually only read about chameleons sometimes mistaking smaller chameleons, including their offspring, for bugs and eat them. Either way, been told not to keep most chameleons together, especially an adult chameleon and a smaller one.
Has anyone ever seen a chameleon and their offspring together, perhaps in their enclosure, without any real trouble?
