Chameleons and Hotel Help

Ok... well we're currently having issues with our landlords and since government shutdown we currently don't have the funds to stay where we are at. But that gives us the opportunity to get out of the terrible place. We've had to manage living in an hotel for 2 months before with my husband, son, dog, cat and me, so we can manage. But really haven't had the chance to do it with a chameleon. Thinking that the tube enclosure would probably be best, right. Since my enclosure is way too big for the car.

Anyone have any suggestions?

*They government shutdown is effecting us due to VA and GI Bill not getting paid to us.*

a bird cage (most of which can be taken apart and/or folded down when not in use) may be an option?

if you are super careful about your cat (and hotel staff) you could perhaps free-range in the bathroom?

On that note mine used to live in a ferret cage. The bars where 3/4" apart so he couldnt get out, however a cats paw could get in...

LOL free range in hotel bathroom:
"why is there a tree in the bath tub???"
" OMG its an ALLIGATOR!!!"

Eh thats what the TSA called my anole in a sandwich baggie...

This just happened 2 days ago and the GI Bill I thought was for school and supplies. VA should not be effected as checks were paid on time.

Just make sure your chameleons don't eat anything from the rooms as they use pesticides.

I used a screen (plastic) laundry bag from the .99 store and Wal-Mart has them for 3 bucks... Makes a good cheap temporary/collapsible cage..

Thank you everyone for the advice. I really like the those big screen enclosures... good price for the big one!

Good news! We aren't going to be living in a hotel. We are going to be able to state here for another 6 months. Then my husbands granddad is going to get us a RV next year so we wont get stuck in a apartment contract again.
