Chameleon won't sleep

Hey guys I never seen my Cham like this he's not sleeping right now and its already 10 where I am i turned off the lights , and he is on his tree kind of leaning to one side of the cage puffed up ,he's his normal nice color not sure if I should be worried

We do but we turned them off , the only light we have on is the kitchen light but it's still dark where his cage is at , this was the first time he was like that . I went to check on him a few minutes ago and he closed his eyes now

You also want to make sure that there aren't uneaten feeder crickets hiding in his cage during the day--which are then prowling around at night.
Crickets are known to chew on sleeping chameleons.
This may be why he is awake and upset.
If you put a bit of cricket food in the cage, such as a piece of carrot, potato, etc. it can help keep any uneaten feeders from feasting on your chameleon.

Does his cage cool off at night? A drop in temp in addition to darkness lowers their metabolism so they can rest. Maybe something woke him up or startled him.

It always helps to put your cage lights on timers so you can give the cham a daily routine. They hate change.
