Chameleon won't eat his food right away, supplement question

I recently bought a Nosy Be male panther and he seems to be a real picky eater. The one and only bug I found that he really likes so far is a stick bug.. I would put one in his cage and instantly he'd be at it. Sadly, I lost all but 3 due to (im thinking) an ivy plant I bought from home depot, possibly sprayed with something. He sometimes eats super worms and occasionally I see him eat the crickets around the cage I guess when he feels like it.. He does poop so he must be eating. Though I'm wondering what about the supplementing? When I powder the crickets.. by the time he eats them, the powder is gone! This makes it kind of confusing especially with the Calcium D and Multivitamins twice a month.. hes basically getting none a month.

&I'm currently raising silkworms so I'm hoping he'll like them as much as he did the stick bugs.. He doesn't seem to be interested in dubia roaches either.. :(

I currently have a veiled and a panther. The veiled will eat from a cup, but the panther would only eat free range crickets as that is what he was used to. He was only a few months old so I continued to allow free range feeding and he pretty much gobbled up the crix as fast as I could put them in. For a while he would only eat crix but eventually got to eating other bugs such as horns, silks, butter and phoenix worms. Since he has gotten older he would not eat all the crix in his cage and they would hide where I could not find them so no that daily feeding is not so critical I am trying to train him to a cup for the crix. I know he eats some of them but he does not empty the cup where as the veiled does. So I am just going to hold out and keep putting them in the cup. I have witnessed him eating some of them so I know he understands what is in there. I too am worried about the lack of supplement since he does not gobble them up. Several months ago one of the senior members (I think it was Jim from FLChams) said he uses a liquid supplement for both vitamins and calcium. I think he said he uses calcium glubionate and liquid infant vitamins (I think the kind without iron) but do not remember the dosing or the schedule. I recently posted this as a question but have not had a reply from him.
