Hello,
Ive got a little problem with my chameleon and would love any information anyone could help me with! PLEASE!!!!!
- Species = Veiled chameleon
- Sex = male
- Age = 1 year and 6 months
- Handling = rarely, only when cleaning out his cage. (Hisses when handled)
- Feeding = mainly locusts, crickets and occasionally mealworms. Wont eat vegetables or fruit
- Supplements = calcium power on all food apart from wednessday when he has nutrobal multivitmin powder.
Watering - Automatic sprayer goes off 2-3 times a day and I hand spray every other day.
Fecal Description - normal dark brownish poos with the occasional/ rare white and orange bits.
History - bought him from a pet shop when he was about 12 weeks (i think). Not sure on anything else.
Cage Type - 5" x 2" x 2" vent/mesh cage.
Lighting - UVB and heat bulb in a combo dome fitting.
Temperature - my apartment is between 20-25°. Thats the temp in the colder areas of his cage. His basking spot is about 30ish degrees.
Plants - 4 live plants shown in pictures attached.
Cage Placement - main social room in my apartment (living room) and not in direct sunlight.
Ive heard that it could be a vitimin a defiancy due to him not eating his greens, not sure if thats it or not.
