Chameleon was given contaminated water

Our Jackson or Three Horned Chameleon was fed water through a bottle a few days in a row that had previously had soap in it. He is not looking good. Three of his four leg joints are swollen, he hasn't eaten or drank anything lately. He looks thinner and he actually fell off his perch today.
We changed his light earlier today thinking it may be MBD via a lack of UVA/UVB... Vit. D etc...
Since discovering what actually happened with the contaminated water, we have force fed him water from a "clean" dripper and have a call into our local reptile guy. Any other advice is welcome.

Can you post a picture?
are the legs swollen, or are his joints swollen?
if its the joints, it could be gout. which requires a vet visit.

Im sorry hes not feeling well.
can you fill out the how to ask for help form and post it here.

Do you know what kind of soap it was? If so, maybe someone here can tell you if that is, indeed, toxic (I'm sure some ingredients in some liquid soaps are toxic for chameleons, but I'll be many are not).
