Chameleon unable to walk a while after laying eggs.

I have a female veiled that is 14 months old now and has laid her first ever clutch of eggs around 2 months ago, laying a total of 48 eggs, she was very tired and didn't eat a lot after laying the eggs, but eventually got her appetite back and was eating fine. She has a variety of locusts, crickets, mealworms and waxworms which she alternates to eat depending on her mood I guess..

Anyway, she is sprayed regularly and enjoys drinking, but recently has started acting very strange. She no longer wants to eat anything, not even waxworms which is odd, as she would usually run to catch one. She doesn't seem to drink much anymore either and now she just lays on the floor, not moving much.

She isn't a dark colour or looks stressed at all, but she doesn't seem to be able to walk very well, or much at all.

She moves when her legs are touched, but she has never been bothered about being handled. I never force her to be handled, she just seems fine with it never really puffing up or hissing, or even backing away. She has always been happy to climb onto a hand and sit on a shoulder.

Her movement seems hesitated, she rocks forward then backwards then lays back down, barely getting up at all. She can walk backwards which is odd, she feels around with her tail and looks behind but doesn't do so well at going forward.

She has been getting calcium and vitamins regularly, and has a solar glo 125W bulb which provides both uv and heat for her.

Her legs are starting to looks fairly broken now, which has happened very fast and they seem to be swelling, she is putting on weight too, which I thought was different.

Anyway, here are some pictures of her legs to see if anyone can help understand what is wrong with her and help me with what I can do to help her.

Her shedding has been stuck on her for 2 days now, I was giving her time to finish shedding but it doesn't seem to be going any further. Her tail has not shed at all yet and is a darker colour than the rest of her.

Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

I can't see the photos either, but it sounds like perhaps she didn't lay all the eggs, or she needs to lay more, and she's suffering from egg-binding now. It's hard to say but I definitely concur, it sounds like an emergency vet visit if possible. I don't think there's anything we can tell you that will make her better without professional help.

I will book an appointment to visit a vet as soon as I can, I thought she may want to lay more, so a fresh lot of mud was put in there. I also dug her a hole again like the first time but this time she covered it up without a second thought. She can't move well enough to dig which made me need to seek help, but while finding a suitable vet to go to I thought I would post here.

Thanks for the advice, sorry the pics didn't work. I will re-upload them now just for the sake of showing you my poor baby.

it does appear that her back leg is broken.

what is her supplement schedule like?

and as others have said, she may be egg bound now.
you need x rays to confirm.

a vet visit is definitely in order.
