Chameleon sleeps all day

My chameleon rango won't stop sleeping. When we first got him about a month ago from back water reptiles. He would walk about the cage and bask but from about a couple days ago he has been sleeping all day and night and when he does walk one of his eyes are closed. This morning i found on the ground with his eyes closed so i picked him up and put him in a deli cup with moist towels on a flat pice of wood in his ficus tree. Can any one tell me what I should do?

Sorry to hear that you are having trouble w/ your cham.

Sleeping durring the day is a bad sign that something is wrong.
There are so many things it can be, so you will need to fill out and post the "how to ask for help" form.

The sooner you do that, the faster we can get some help to you
