Chameleon sizes?

There is a chameleon at my local pet store that I plan on buying, but I don't know how to tell how old it is by the size? He is about 2 1/2 inches long.

Ya.. Senegals can be tiny.. panthers can be bigger.. Veiled is most likely sold in pet stores.
